Spay / Neuter with Rabies vaccination and*Ear tipping $25.00
*It is recommended that all feral cats being returned to a colony be ear tipped to identify them as having been spayed / neutered / vaccinated and cared for, which is recognized by municipal animal control wardens.
Drop off Friday evening between 6 - 8 pm.
If you are unable to drop off Friday night, you may drop off Saturday, at 8 am.
Pick up Saturday evening between 6 - 8 pm
Payment is at the time of drop off or pick up.
- Cats that are brought in traps will be returned to their trap.
- If you would like them to be in a carrier, you may bring an empty carrier and request this at check in.
- You may bring a towel and newspaper, and request that newspaper be placed in the trap and the cat wrapped in the towel when placed in the trap or carrier, after surgery, for recovery.
This will be noted on the check in record.
Currently, they are allowing 4 feral and stray cats per day, Monday - Friday to be scheduled...
One Saturday a month, they schedule 40 feral and stray cats and will be scheduling more frequently as the demand increases.
Call to get on their mailing list and for your appointment slot.
If you find a friendly stray, who is brought in for spay / neuter, you may inquire if they have the room for rehabilitation for adoption, particularly with young kittens.
If kittens are donated to NSAL for adoption, a free spay / neuter certificate is issued for the mother cat.

Testing:
FeLv/FIV Combo Snap test immediate results $30.00
FeLv Elisa In House Lab Next day results $5.00
Antech Lab FIV - Sent out - Next day results $7.50
If a cat turns out to be friendly, you may test later for FeLv $15.00
Flea Prevention Advantage application $10.00
You may request other services and treatment at the time of check in, such as checking for ear mites or injuries and abcess, if you suspect a problem.
